AI credits measure use of the writing assistant. They are app credits, separate from OpenAI tokens or account balances. You can keep editing your words when your AI allowance runs out.
Credits reset at the start of each calendar month in UTC. Unused credits do not roll over. Automatic assistance uses credits too; pause it whenever you like. Skipped requests and failed generations with no useful output return their credits. Cancelled requests and generations with partial output use credits.

Your AI allowance renews at the start of the next month in UTC. You can continue writing existing drafts, and Pro accounts can still export.
Your plan caps active documents stored in your account. Trashed drafts are recoverable and excluded from the active document limit. A separate total cloud storage limit, including Trash, is 20 documents on Free, 100 on Basic, and 1,000 on Pro. The server checks both limits before accepting a document.
Basic and Pro renew monthly through Stripe; the Founding plan renews yearly. Choose your plan, review the price and applicable taxes in checkout, and manage or cancel renewal through your account. Pro features unlock after your payment is confirmed.
Free and Basic accounts can run the writing panel 3 times each UTC calendar month and keep 1 saved writing style. Panel runs also use AI credits. A run that fails without useful output does not count; a run you stop does.
The first 50 writers on the Founding plan get Pro for C$99/year, billed yearly. The price stays the same for as long as the subscription stays active; if you cancel, the Founding price ends. It includes all Pro features, with web search capped at 100 searches a month. Founding spots are limited, only offered while spots remain, and held for a day while a checkout is open.
You can select and copy your draft text on every plan. Pro adds Markdown draft downloads and JSON workspace export. Your saved writing remains readable if you downgrade; Pro tools become locked.
